Mo's Acting Classes at Filmbase
Maureen has recently moved back from London where she was living for a little over 5 years.
For 3 of those years she was training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she received a BA in Acting.
She was also trained how to teach acting. She has taught for RADA on numerous occasions both at RADA and in secondary and primary schools around London.
Maureen teaches the essentials of classical acting in a playful and simplistic way.
She slowly introduces through games the techniques of Stanislavski, Meisner, Laban and many others to show the students how to apply these techniques in a practical way through scene study.
Above all, Maureen believes one can only be doing their best when enjoying themselves. Acting is joyful and the learning of it shouldn't be stressful or upsetting.
An 8 week course, classes take place at Filmbase, 2 Curved Street, Dublin 2 at 7-10pm every Monday from May 8th until July 6th.
Classes are €30 each and there is a €100 deposit.
