HUM is the first funded short film I have directed.
It was funded by the awesome Screen Ireland or "Fís Éireann".
We shot in the Hugh Lane Gallery in July & August 2020 in the amazing Seán Scully Room and under Seán's blessing.
It is written by Ivan Cush and the DOP is Burschi Wojnar.
The amazing cast is Barry John Kinsella and Bosco Hogan.
It had it's World Premiere at the Cork Film Festival in November 2020.

Meitherhood is a comedy short film that I am directing at the moment. We began shooting it on December 17th 2017 and will shoot the last 2 remaining days very soon. Christiane O'Mahony wrote, produces and stars in it.

I had a wonderful time, in November 2017, directing brilliant actors in a rehearsed read-through for a short film screenplay called, "JOE", written by Tamryn Reineke for Pale Rebel Productions.
We hope to get funding for it & go into production soon.

On the 13th of February 2016, I began the shoot for my 3rd short film,
PROCLAIM!
PROCLAIM! is a period short film set in Dublin in 1916 around the time of the Easter Rising.
The Synopsis:
Dublin, April, 1916.
Revolutionary; James Connolly; looks to Dublin printers, Molloy, O'Brien and Brady to turn out 2000 copies of an Irish Proclamation- in one night and in secret- to be read by Padraig Pearse at the GPO Easter Monday 24th April 1916. They don't have enough type, they don't have enough wax, they don't have enough paper. Can they do it?
It was a 6 day shoot all in all. I finished on the 26th of February and I have been in post-production with it ever since.
I also play my Granny, Nell Sullivan, in it. To the left, is me as "Nell".
It is one of the many character posters for the film.
I am now raising funds through indiegogo for a professional sound-mix & grade.
